The new owner of Powell’s Sweet Shoppe is planning a major expansion of the brand, including both corporate locations and adding more franchise locations.

“Our new East Coast home will have the signature Sugar Factory sweets our fans love, but there will be specific touches to the D.C. location that you cannot get anywhere else,” says owner, Charissa Davidovici.

There’s something about walking into a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store that takes you to your happy place.

“Our guests will enter an engaging and interactive space where they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and create keepsake photos."
