Nashville-based Chocolate Co. Olive & Sinclair moves into new space

New building slated to have space for retail, factory

Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. is opening a new factory Thursday, Dec. 19. Olive and Sinclair

The company’s new space at 1628 Fatherland St. in Nashville, Tenn., is a renovated 19thcentury grocery store in East Nashville. It will feature a factory area and a retail store.  

The candy maker has decorated the new factory with vintage memorabilia, in keeping with the company’s vintage branding, and plans to offer people a chance to see how Olive & Sinclair candy is created.

“Fully renovated and replete with era-appropriate antique equipment, the Olive & Sinclair factory is ready to open its doors to chocolate fans from around the country who are invited to observe every step of the process,” the company says.

Founded by Scott Witherow in September of 2009, Olive & Sinclair is handcrafted by native Nashvillians in the heart of Music City, and the company “is proud to be the paramount bean-to-bar chocolate maker in the South.”

Slow-roasted and stone ground in small batches, select single origin beans are combined with pure brown sugar for a smooth and robust flavor unique to “Southern Artisan Chocolate.”
