Alain Roby — the chef known for his All Chocolate Kitchen (A.C.K.) in Geneva, Ill. and his habit of creating giant chocolate statues of famous people — is only getting more popular.

Soon, every private-label chocolate bar in every Aldi store in Germany will be made with only sustainable cocoa.

Chocolate lovers in Chicago have a new reason to rejoice — the new Lindt Chocolate Bar at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago is opening this month.

Walk into Ghirardelli’s new Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop, located in The Wrigley Building in Chicago, you’ll be met with two stories of chocolate-y goodness.

Amanda Puck, director of strategic brand development for Mariano’s, loves to describe the chain as, “an experience.” It’s a lofty goal for a grocery store, but it’s definitely a goal they seem to be achieving.

It looks like you can finally have it all — chocolate, couture, and home decor.

“It comes from the inspiration of wanting to create an extraordinary-tasting chocolate that’s also good for you,” says Julie Pech, owner.

There’s been a noticeable shift in the type of food people buying at convenience stores.

This is the grand opening of Sugar Factory in Rosemont, Chicago. Although the store has been open since November last year, they’re making it official now with a red carpet and celebrity appearances by Blackhawks Hall-of-Famer Bobby Hull, America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon and — most importantly — Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kylie Jenner.
