Medford, Ore.-based Harry & David Holdings, Inc. announced it has cut approximately 10% of salaried and full-time employees, excluding retail store employees. This reduction in staffing was decided upon after the company had already reduced discretionary spending and capital expenditures, frozen wages and salaries, suspended the company match to the employee 401k plan and announced that no bonuses will be paid in 2009.
