Artisan chocolate maker Norman Love launchesBLACK single origin dark chocolates.

THE COMPANY:Norman Love Confections, Fort Myers, Fla.
THE PRODUCT: BLACK dark chocolates
THE HOOK: Artisan chocolate maker Norman Love launchesBLACK single origin dark chocolates. In addition to dark chocolate’s healthy components, including antioxidants, endorphins and the amino acid tryptophan, which produces serotonin in the brain, flavors in the chocolates take on the environment in which they were grown, Love says. The collection, including raw material produced by Max Felchlin AG, includes five origin dark chocolates, including 74% Hacienda Elvesia, with black tea, tobacco, orange and grapefruit flavor profiles; 72% Arriba, with coffee, licorice, plum and black currant flavor profiles; 68% Cru Sauvage, with lemon, grapefruit, plum and vanilla flavor profiles; 65% Maracaibo Clasificado, with coffee, plum, orange blossom, cinnamon and raisin flavor profiles; and 64% Madagascar, with hazelnut, wild berry, clove and cedar flavor profiles. Each chocolate features cocoa beans from different origins around the world.
“My intention withBLACK is to create five origin confections with varied cocoa contents that combine the robust flavors of the chocolates with sensuous ganache fillings,” explains Love.
