Spangler donates candy canes for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition holiday episode

Spangler Candy Canes are slated to be under the spotlight during a big appearance on the small screen. The company donated their candy canes for a project airing on the Dec. 16 Extreme Makeover - Home Edition.

The candy will be featured in the Christmas parade, as decorations in the park and as holiday inspiration for Art World - where each designer works on a special project - during the two-hour holiday episode.

Throughout the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition nine-year series, deserving families in need of a newly rebuilt or refurbished home are treated to the door knock that changes their lives.

“Spangler Candy is proud to participate in the show, and help celebrate the season of giving by sharing one of America's most iconic Christmas candies,” the company says.

Spangler Candy makes 2.7 million candy canes a day from traditional peppermint candy canes to branded JellyBelly, SourPunch, Smarties and DumDums candy canes.
