40 Years of Confections … and Counting
The International Sweets & Biscuits Fair (ISM) will celebrate 40 years in Cologne, Germany, Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2010, with 1,600 suppliers from some 70 countries in attendance, including 41 companies that have exhibited at the show every year since its start.The event will kick off with a ‘70s-style birthday party at Koelnmesse, where the trade show will take up 110,000 square meters (360,892 sq. ft.) of exhibition space.
Other additions for next year will include the Convenience Summit for decision makers in the c-store channel. And for the first time, journalists will be invited to choose the best introduction in the New Product Showcase for a special Innovation Award.
ProSweets Cologne, the trade show for suppliers to the confectionery industry, will run concurrent to ISM.
