North American confectionery and snack manufacturers now have the chance to attend the Yummex Middle East show in Dubai.

Koelnmesse Inc., the North American arm of international trade show organizer Koelnmesse GmBH, has announced that the North American pavilion at Yummex Middle East (formerly Sweets & Snacks Middle East) will accommodate 8-10 companies with fully furnished booths.

“We are thrilled to assist U.S. and Canadian companies expand their business in the lucrative Middle East market. The easiest and most effective way to participate in this event is taking space in the North American Pavilion. Participation provides an excellent tool to connect with distributors or to find partners in the Middle Eastern and North African market to grow their business," says Mette Petersen, president and ceo, Koelnmesse Inc.

The 10th edition of the event takes place Nov. 7-9, 2016. The show is expected to attract close to 8000 attendees mostly from the Middle East and North Africa regions. The attendees will be senior buyers of major retailers, hotels, and catering companies as well as importers in one of the world's fastest-growing regions for sweets and snacks consumption.

Yummex Middle East is organized by the Koelnmesse Group, producer of the Cologne-based ISM Show, in conjunction with the Dubai World Trade Center Co. The main product groups will be chocolate products, confectionery items, biscuits, snack foods, and fruit and vegetable snacks.

Confectionery manufacturers from the United States may be eligible for funding from the Market Access Program.
