Daniel Studer named new CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc., as Thomas Linemayr leaves
Linemayr slated to step down at the end of April.
Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. will have a new ceo soon.
Daniel Studer will be taking over the role, after it was announced that Thomas Linemayr — current ceo of Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. and member of the extended group management — will leave the company at the end of April 2016 to pursue a new challenge outside of the group.
His responsibilities as ceo will be handed over to Studer, who has been with Lindt & Sprüngli for more than a decade and has served as v.p. sales of Lindt & Sprüngli USA since 2011.
And Linemayr's responsibilities as extended group management member will be handed over to other members of the group management and extended group management.
Linemayr began his career with Lindt & Sprüngli in 1995 as marketing and sales director at the German subsidiary. He was appointed ceo of Lindt & Sprüngli USA in 1999, where he and his team helped build the Lindt brand.
Lindt & Sprüngli has expressed its thanks for Linemayr's valuable contribution to the development of the company and wishes him success for the future.
