Gardners Candies hits casinos
The growing PA-based chocolatier made its airport debut earlier this year.

Sales at Gardners Candies continue to rise as the PA-based chocolatier expands its footprint across North America. The brand’s Original Peanut Butter Meltaway Bars and other products are now available at nearly 40 additional U.S. and Canadian airport locations, New York City’s Moynihan Train Hall, and resort casinos in Las Vegas, NV, and Atlantic City, NJ.
Earlier this year, Gardners products launched at more than 100 CIBO Express airport locations. The brand’s offerings—including Peanut Butter Meltaway Bars, Peanut Butter Meltaway Grahams, Peanut Butter Pretzels, S’mores, and O’s (Oreo cookies covered in milk chocolate)—will soon be available at Marshall Retail Group stores in the following airports:

- Chicago O’Hare International
- Denver International

- Newark Liberty International
- Orlando International
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International
- Portland International (OR)

Gardners products also have been added to Marshall Retail Group locations at Moynihan Train Hall, the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. KeHE Distributors LLC is the distributor.
“This is another important step in our effort to grow Gardners into a true national brand,” says Jim Westover, chief operating officer at Gardners. “Interest among brokers, distributors, and retailers is really taking off as they recognize there is great demand for our premium products.”
Gardners candies are also sold at Sheetz, Giant Eagle, GetGo, Giant Food Stores, CVS, and other convenience retailers. Sales in those outlets are up nearly 6% year over year. Online sales have increased more than 13% year over year.
