With the physical interpack trade show being postponed to 2021, Bühler is offering a “virtual interpack” featuring digital showrooms, chats and webinars to present its latest technologies and solutions.
It could be months before shoppers notice the impact of coronavirus on store shelves, but there’s a lot manufacturers and suppliers can do to mitigate any impact.
The confectionery and baked goods segments are an excellent example of the important impact packaging can have on consumer decisions at the point of sale.
The show is still proceeding as planned, according to event organizers, who also said “Messe Düsseldorf is closely monitoring current developments and is in direct contact with the health authorities.”
