Most people who celebrate Easter will share a gift of chocolate and candy to celebrate the season, according to the National Confectioners Association’s (NCA) report on seasonal confectionery sales.
“The pandemic has had various impacts on consumer behavior,” explains Rebeka Davis, account manager, GNT USA. “On the one hand, many people have been indulging more in chocolate and sugar confectionery; on the other, eight in ten worldwide say they plan to adopt healthier eating and drinking habits.”
CandyStore.com reviewed more than 13 years of candy sales data and the results from more than 10,000 survey responses to map out jelly bean flavor preferences.
