Pez Candy names Christian Jegen new president and ceo
Former Haribo of America president joins famed “interactive” confectionery company.
Christian Jegen, former president of Haribo of America, has signed on to lead Pez Candy as its news president and ceo. He will also serve on the executive board of Pez AG, which owns the subsidiary.

Jegen is replacing Joseph Vittoria, who recently joined Promotion in Motion as executive v.p. and chief administrative officer.

Before Pez Candy, Jegen was at Haribo of America for 18 years, where he built up the company’s strategic growth and brand presence in the U.S. marketplace. He has more than 25 years of experience in the candy industry and retailer marketplace.
“His background in the consumer product industry, coupled with his business acumen and experience within the confectionery industry provides him with a solid foundation for understanding the needs of how to take PEZ Candy to the next level of innovation and growth,” says Foedermayr.
Founded in 1927, the Orange, Conn.-based company is known for its “interactive candy” and wildly popular Pez dispensers.
