Tic Tac ‘mixes’ it up

New Tic Tacs change flavor in your mouth.

By Crystal Lindell
July 28, 2015

Tic Tac Mixers mints, the newest addition to the Tic Tac family of products, features first-of-its-kind, dual-flavored pills that change from one flavor to another as you let them melt in your mouth.

Traditionally known to consumers as a leading mint brand for more than 40 years, the transformative flavor properties of these new mints are a breakthrough for both the Tic Tac brand and the mints/candy industry.

The first two products within this new sub-brand highlight refreshing beverage flavors.  They include:

  • Cherry Cola flavor Tic Tac Mixers: Transitions from a cherry flavor to a classic cola flavor.
  • Peach Lemonade flavor Tic Tac Mixers: Changes from a peach flavor to the sweet flavor of lemonade.

“While the majority of the gum and mints category is focused on functional, breath-freshening benefits, we saw an opportunity to offer our consumers an unexpected surprise,” says Todd Midura, category director for the Tic Tac brand at Ferrero U.S.A., Inc. “New Tic Tac Mixers mints may ultimately bring a little fun to our consumer’s day — it’s something new and different from the Tic Tac brand.”
