1-800-Flowers.com is now offering a collection of gourmet products for same-day delivery, thanks to a new partnership with Zipments. The speedy delivery option is available in select areas of Chicago and New York City.
Zipments, the New York-based technology company that offers retailers and consumers a same-day local delivery service, is excited about stepping into the world of confections through the world’s leading florist and gift shop.
And, there are plans to expand the service to additional cities in the future.

The same-day delivery collection includes premium chocolates and confections from Fannie May, popcorn and specialty treats from The Popcorn Factory, cookies and baked goods from Cheryl’s, gift baskets from 1-800-Baskets.com, and edible fruit arrangements from FruitBouquets.com.
While the service is a huge innovation for 1-800-Flowers.com, both companies are making sure the new option is incorporated as seamlessly as possible.
The same-day delivery option will appear during the checkout process on the 1-800-Flowers.com website when orders are placed before 2 p.m. EST. A tracking feature allows shoppers to watch the entire delivery process in real time from pickup to final delivery.
