Western Candy Conference 2021 will be hosted virtually, organizers announced Nov. 13.

The event was set to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, but the online event is now scheduled for March 18-19 from 9 a.m. to noon PST. 

“We know we are not alone in this decision, especially in light of the continued global concerns as well as industry polling and industry bellwethers who have rescheduled, cancelled, or delayed other 2021 Q1 and Q2 gatherings,” wrote Elizabeth Clair, WCC 2021 chairman, in a letter to members. “While we would have enjoyed seeing each and every one of you, your colleagues, and families in Arizona this coming spring, the Board has weighed safety and health concerns of all involved, and feel that this is the best course.”

Western Candy Conference 2022 is scheduled for the third week of March at the Hyatt McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale.
