Just Born Quality Confections has named Chidi Alams as vice president and chief information officer.

Alams joins Just Born from Team Car Care/Jiffy Lube, where he held the same role. 

As a member of the Just Born executive team, Alams will be responsible for establishing Just Born’s information technology vision and digital transformation strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy. He will provide strategic oversight for driving digitization, which will encompass business process automation and enhanced data/business intelligence capabilities. Alams will lead the IT Team in continuing to build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, while delivering top-notch customer service.

“Chidi is a visionary leader who will add tremendous value to Just Born in this critical role” said David Yale, Just Born president and chief operating officer, to whom Alams will report. 

Alams’ extensive IT career includes roles at Expedia, Rackspace, Concentra and Exeter Finance before taking on the role of CIO at Team Car Care/Jiffy Lube, where he led IT and Continuous Improvement.
