Western Candy Conference Announces Events

March 13, 2008

The Western Candy Conference, which will be held at Loew’s Lake Las Vegas Resort on March 26-30, will include a full line-up of expert speakers who will offer beneficial ideas and thoughtful tools during the show’s two-part seminar series. The second day of seminars will feature a tabletop display portion, which allows suppliers to showcase their products. Keynote speaker Jeff Hendler’s presentation on “The creation of common sense” will conclude the program. In addition to the informative seminars, the Western Candy Conference Committee planned a variety of social and networking events, including a cruise on Lake Las Vegas.

Wednesday, March 26

6:00-7:30 p.m. Opening night suppliers’ reception

Thursday, March 27
7:15-8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast
8:00-12:00 p.m. Business session #1
Speakers: Morty Jenkins, Calico Cottage, Inc. “How to gain and maintain your competitive advantage”
Sam Singer, “When 60 Minutes comes calling: Provocative media management”
Jess Vargas, JVA Consulting, “Business process management”

Friday, March 28
8:00 a.m. Golf tournament
5:30 p.m. Theme dinner: Madame Tussaud’s at the Venetian Hotel

Saturday, March 29
7:30-8:15 a.m. Continental breakfast
8:15-12:30 p.m. Business session #2

9:00-10:30 a.m. Table Top Presentations
