Elements Truffles introduces Sea Salt with Turmeric bar

Dark chocolate bar is made with raw, organic ingredients.

Element Truffles Sea Salt Turmeric
June 16, 2021

Elements Truffles has introduced the Sea Salt with Turmeric chocolate bar, made with raw cacao and organic ingredients.

Elements Truffles, an Asian-owned Ayurvedic clean chocolate brand, was founded on meditation and creating chocolates handmade with cacao, Ayurveda superfoods and pure essential oils.

Crafted with Sea Salt from Cervia, a small town on Italy’s Adriatic coast, turmeric from India and cacao from Ecuador, this 70 percent dark chocolate bar has 5 grams of sugar per serving. It’s formulated with organic raw cacao butter, raw honey, organic raw cacao powder, organic turmeric root powder, sea salt and Himalayan pink salt.

The 2-oz. bar retails for $7. Elements Truffles donates 25 percent of its profits to Care for Children, an organization that supports education for underprivileged children in tribal areas of India.

Founded by Alak Vassa and Kushal Choksi, Elements Truffles was born at the intersection of two things that make them happy — chocolates and meditation. While working as a trader on Wall Street, everything was going well for Vassa but she felt a sense of purpose was missing.

About 12 years ago, Vassa learned how to meditate, and as she grew in the practice, she became more mindful of the food she was putting into her body. After adopting elements of the Ayurvedic lifestyle that was part of her upbringing, she created a line of healthy chocolates that focuses on balance and simplicity in lifestyle.
