Candy Industry Magazineand ECRM hosted the Annual Kid’s Choice Awards again this year at the February Seasonal Candy ECRM in Jacksonville, Fla.

The event featured kids from the Jacksonville Boys and Girls Club, who not only got to try lots of candy, but also got to see what it’s like to be a candy buyer.

The ever amazing Print Cates, v.p. of Product Management, J. Sosnick and Son, did an amazing job giving the children a glimpse into what a career in candy could actually be like. He lured them by showing up in a giant purple Willy Wonka hat, and then led them through an acapella version of The Candy Man.

Then, the children got to the real work — taste testing all the delicious candy and then picking their favorite chocolate, non-chocolate and novelty items. Each kid was given a bag of samples for each category and then asked to vote for their favorites.

One the next page, you’ll see which candies come out on top. Candy Industry Magazine would like to offer them all our sincerest congratulations!
