Emergency energy
The Company: VE2, Miami
The Product:Energy Gum
The Hook: VE2 Energy Gum was created by an emergency room doctor looking for a way to stay alert without having to refrigerate the product or make constant trips to the bathroom. Two pieces of gum equal one 8-oz. energy drink or one strong cup of coffee. Caffeine is absorbed faster through oral membranes than through the stomach, which makes energy gum more efficient in delivering energy. The gum also offers vitamins B6 and B12, niacin, ginseng and guarana to give additional alertness without the crash. With 10 pieces in each package, the entire pack is equal to five energy drinks, but only costs around the price of one energy drink. By chewing energy gum, consumers can save money and gain energy faster. The product does not include any paper packaging, which saves trees and helps the environment.
