Retail Confectioners International (RCI) will host its 2022 Annual Convention & Industry Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania July 25-29.

Chosen for its close proximity to a large concentration of candy makers and suppliers, the city of Pittsburgh last hosted an RCI event in 2011. 

For more than 100 years, facilitating connections between candy makers and their suppliers has been a fundamental component of the association and its events. As one of few industry organizations able to host an in-person event in 2021, this summer RCI leadership and members were reminded of the value of connection.

“I feel very fortunate we were able to host RCI’s 2021 Annual Convention & Industry Expo,” said RCI Executive Director Angie Burlison. “Not only was registration up compared to 2019, the buzz coming from attendees was palpable. We look forward to delivering another impactful attendee experience in 2022 including plenty of connection opportunities, valuable education sessions, confectionery tours and the Industry Expo.” 

Suppliers of equipment, packaging, chocolate, ingredients and more are invited to reserve booths now for RCI’s Industry Expo, scheduled for July 26-27, 2022. 

“In conjunction with the convention, the Industry Expo is a great opportunity for candy makers to not only connect with suppliers, but also see, touch and, in many cases, taste new products,” Burlison said.
