Nassau Candy, a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of specialty confections and fine foods, has announced that it will now include Sweet’s Classics Au Natural brand as part of its catalogue.

The Classics Au Natural brand of candies feature no artificial flavors or colors, corn syrup, or preservatives, and will be certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

The  line includes Citrus Slices, Squirmy Worm (gourmet sour gummy worms), Squishy Fishy (gourmet gummy fish), and Nummy Bears (gourmet gummy bears) — all of which are available for immediate delivery from Nassau Candy.

Randy Goldbaum, v.p. of confectionery sales at Nassau Candy, says the decision to offer the line is a response to consumers increasingly demanding natural  ingredients for themselves and their children not just at meal times, but also when they snack.

“So the Sweet Classics Au Natural candy line is as natural a fit for our gourmet food customers’ shelves as it is for our specialty confections retailers,” he explains.

Nassau Candy was founded  in 1920 as a neighborhood candy store, and today has nearly a half-million sq. ft. of manufacturing and distribution centers across the United States.

Sweet Candy Co. is a family-owned and operated American company. The third, fourth and fifth generations of the family are actively involved in the daily operations of the business. Sweet’s distributes more than 250 quality candy items nationally and internationally—in bulk, bags, and boxes.
