Western Candy Conference extends early bird discount
The event's central theme will cover challenges candy manufacturers face.

The Western Candy Conference, hosted by nonprofit trade organization Western Candy Association, announced that it will be extending its early bird discount for registration. The conference will take place June 10-14 at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, in San Antonio.
Early bird registration for the convention has been extended through January 31—giving attendees $200 off the regular price. Early pricing includes $1,795 for manufacturers and $2,295 for suppliers and service providers.
The conference's central theme, “Out-of-the-Box Thinking: Thrive with Texas-Size Ideas” will cover the challenges candy manufacturers face through various government regulations as well as increased costs of packaging, ingredients, and labor. Philippe Tytgat, senior sales director, Blommer Chocolate Company, will be the chairman for 2026.
The org's mission is to "foster a strong, supportive community for manufacturers and suppliers, while addressing key government affairs that impact these sectors," it says, and the annual Western Candy Conference is the association's flagship event.
"This professional conference brings together industry leaders for networking, community building, educational sessions, and the exchange of innovative ideas. It serves as a prime opportunity for members to collaborate, learn about industry trends, and address key issues affecting the sector," the org notes.
