Nassau Candy, manufacturer of specialty and private-label confections, is expanding its Clever Candy bulk offerings at the 2026 Sweets & Snacks Expo. The new releases for Nassau Candy’s Clever Candy brand strive to feature the hottest flavor profiles and innovative shapes for bulk and repackaging programs, the brand says.

New at the show include the brand's Clever Candy Gummy Pickles, Gummy Watermelon Slices, Gummy Pink Lemonade Slices, Gummy Filled Kitty Paws, Gummy Blue Raspberries, and Licorice Pastels.

“Our Clever Candy brand is known for its innovative bulk, offering the unexpected along with tried-and-true bestsellers,” says Andrew Reitman, EVP, national brand confections for Nassau Candy. “This year, our new bulk releases have something for everyone. From trending pickle flavor to shopper-requested shapes, and nostalgic favorites—all while maintaining a competitive price point.”

Clever Candy Gummy Pickles tie into the continuing craze for anything pickle-flavored, Nassau Candy says. The detailed pickle shape combined with a sweet but tangy dill flavor will delight pickle consumers, it adds.

Sour continues to be a top candy flavor profile, making Clever Candy Gummy Watermelon Slices and Pink Lemonade Slices a great way for retailers to expand their sour assortment, the brand notes. The new candies have a colorful wedge shape and a sour coating.

Clever Candy Filled Kitty Paws play into shoppers’ love of their furry friends, the brand adds, with each filled paw-shaped gummy offering a burst of fruit flavor. With animal-themed parties being popular at the moment, the Kitty Paws will be suitable for party favors and candy buffets, the brand notes.

Nostalgia is still a big driver of candy purchases, inspiring the addition of the Clever Candy Licorice Pastels, the brand says.  Each crunchy candy shell has a black licorice center, and the candy shells in a rainbow of pastel colors are instantly familiar, calling attention to bulk displays, it comments.

Another twist on an old-fashioned candy favorite is Clever Candy’s Blue Raspberries. Each blue raspberry-flavored gummy is coated in bright blue nonpareils, for a chewy, crunchy bite inspired by the classic Black & Red Berries, now with a modern blue raspberry flavor.

The Clever Candy Gummy Pickles are available now, and the Clever Candy Gummy Watermelon Slices, Gummy Pink Lemonade Slices, Filled Kitty Paws, Blue Raspberries and Licorice Pastels will be available this summer.
