Peterbrooke Chocolatier has opened a new specialty retail shop on South Country Road in Palm Beach, Fla., just ahead of the holiday gifting season.

Nearly five months in development, the new shop is part of Peterbrooke’s aggressive 2018 growth strategy as the brand eyes additional expansion across Palm Beach County and throughout South Florida. Peterbrooke has 19 other locations in Florida.

The new store features a rotating gelato case, a chocolate tasting bar, a state-of-the-art kitchen and interactive prep areas, bringing customers closer to the chocolate making experience.

“The new shop is more central to Palm Beach’s core, allowing us to better serve the community — whether you’re walking or driving by,” said Jeff Smith, Peterbrooke Chocolatier’s coo. “Our new South County Road location features our updated branding and 2.0 shop design.”

As part of its grand opening celebration Nov. 24, Peterbrooke offered every guest a free 6-oz. container of chocolate-covered popcorn, one of the brand’s signature items. Additionally, guests tasted gelatos, sampled gourmet chocolates, hand-dipped their own treats and made their own chocolate bark.

Peterbrooke’s decadent truffles, handmade caramels and cherry cordials indulge discerning connoisseurs, while specialties such as chocolate-covered cookies, pretzels, scratch-made marshmallows, potato chips and strawberries are hand-dipped daily with Peterbrooke’s proprietary blend of milk, dark and white chocolate.

Furthermore, many of Peterbrooke’s sweets are certified OU Kosher, including the gelato, and each Peterbrooke shop offers its own take on team-building classes, summer day camps for children, private parties, catering and corporate gifts.

The new South County Road location was the culmination of nearly five years of operating an existing Peterbrooke Chocolatier shop on Royal Poinciana Way. Proving its deep commitment to the Palm Beach community, Peterbrooke continued to pay its employees after the former shop closed in June until the new location’s build-out was complete.

“Our Palm Beach employees are the heart and soul of our business and absolutely critical to producing the hand-crafted chocolates our customers have come to know us for,” Smith said. “We are happy to be back open with our existing and new staff at our new, more centrally located South County Road location and look forward to welcoming our loyal customers back, as well as introducing Peterbrooke chocolates to new guests and friends.”
