Novelty candy items a hit among Disney princess fans

Cinderella, Sofia the First and Frozen’s Anna and Elsa are the most popular princesses in CandyRific’s collection.

Princesses are making candy even sweeter as CandyRific’s bestselling Disney item.

“We see the popularity of Disney Princesses continuing to increase,” CandyRific president Rob Auerbach says.

Favorite characters include Cinderella, Sofia the First and Frozen’s Anna and Elsa. CandyRific introduced spin pops and candy dispensers featuring Anna and Elsa this fall and produced a Sofia the First candy fan in the spring. Cinderella is featured in the Light & Sound Wand with microbites candy, a product that CandyRific expects to see even more success closer to the release of the live-action film Cinderella in March.

Other Disney characters are also available. “We are thrilled … to offer the ‘magic of Disney’ in interactive novelty items to our customers,” Auerbach says.

CandyRific works with M&M’S, Skittles and Starburst brands, along with Disney, Warner Bros., Scooby-Doo and Dreamworks to produce candy and novelty product combinations. Many of the products are especially popular with collectors.
