ISM named three new product winners for 2019, as well as a packaging winner. The results are listed below.

These Fruit Roll-Ups are a delicious and efficient energy supply without added sugar, concentrate, cereals or nuts. They are made with only sun-ripened fruits from Ghana and feature sweet tropical flavors. Grown and harvested on small farms, they are responsibly and locally processed in the company’s state of-the-art factory, which keeps the value chain in Ghana. They also are ecologically produced, using solar panels powered by the African sun.

The roll-ups come in three of flavors, including: Pineapple-Mango, Mango and Pineapple.

One pack of Swiss Cannabis Gum contains 120 milligrams of cannabidiol (CBD) — roughly equivalent to six grams of hemp — but with one significant difference: it doesn't get the consumer high. Roelli Roelli claims to be the first company to pack so much CBD into a piece of gum while remaining completely legal.

 

Each individual piece contains 5 milligrams of the antioxidant (CBD). And the company says that chewing it does release positive effect, claiming that, “Good vibes are certain. Right away.” The gum also features natural peppermint oil and 15 percent xylitol. The company recommends that consumers “Pop it in your mouth. Chew for 20 minutes. Breathe deeply.

 

As in the past, in addition to the best innovations of the special show, an additional prize was awarded for the most innovative packaging — the ISM Packaging Award powered by ProSweets Cologne.
