This year's recipient is the CEO of an Italian confectionery company.

A panel of experts evaluated each treat with a focus on innovation, indulgence, and sustainability.

The organization is also recognizing Elaine Wu, co-founder and SVP of Amos Food Group, with its second-annual Impact Award.

The recognition honors female leaders with exceptional mentorship, leadership, and influence in the confectionery industry, the org says.
