Coco Polo Bliss to feature sugar-free chocolate line at Newtopia Now
The brand highlights upcycled cacao fruit and clean-label formulation.

Coco Polo Bliss will showcase its sugar-free chocolate line at the upcoming Newtopia Now show, taking place August 20–22, 2025 in Denver, Colorado. The company, founded in 1997, focuses on producing chocolate without added sugars, using all-natural ingredients and upcycled cacao fruit.
Co-founder Diane Yamate says the brand’s mission began with a personal goal: to create chocolate that could be enjoyed by someone managing diabetes. “People are rethinking sugar—not just for managing conditions like diabetes, but for weight control, energy, and overall wellness,” Yamate says. “We’ve been working on chocolate without added sugar since the 1990s.”
The company’s Bliss line, introduced in 2023, incorporates the entire cacao fruit—not just the beans—resulting in a product that is both nutrient-dense and aligned with sustainability goals. The chocolates contain no added sugars, artificial sweeteners, or unfamiliar additives. They are certified by the Upcycled Food Association and the Non-GMO Project.
Coco Polo’s approach to chocolate emphasizes clean ingredients and minimal processing, with a focus on meeting the needs of consumers seeking alternatives to conventional sweets. The company’s products are also certified by the Feingold Organization.
Attendees at Newtopia Now will have the opportunity to sample the full product line and learn more about Coco Polo’s approach to sugar-free chocolate.
