CandyKing launches confections co-created with consumers

The brand's CoLab will kick off with a new sour gummy.

CandyKing, a Swedish pick and mix candy brand, is inviting shoppers to take center stage in creating the next line of sweet treats with the launch of CandyKing CoLab, a new series of products designed in collaboration with consumers.

Under the CoLab label, CandyKing will introduce pick and mix candies developed entirely under its own brand, shaped and inspired by its clientele. Shoppers can vote on upcoming flavor combinations, textures, and colors, directly influencing which products make it to the shelves.

CandyKing CoLab kicks off with a new sour winegum, and consumers can already vote on which flavor will be produced: Cola-Strawberry or Raspberry-Grapefruit. Voting opens closes February 25. The majority vote will decide the next CandyKing product. Consumers can vote here.

“Evolving our assortment to match our consumers’ taste preferences has always been at the core of the CandyKing experience," says Laura Rytkölä, global director, CandyKing. “CandyKing CoLab brings our fans into the heart of the creation process, helping us decide which flavors and textures deserve a spot in the mix. It’s all about building the future CandyKing assortment together.“ 

The CandyKing CoLab series will feature multiple product launches, each informed by consumer feedback, making candy creation a shared experience between the brand and its consumers.
