Las Olas Confections and Snacks has announced a partnership with family-owned Zeno’s Boardwalk Sweet Shop to support the continued growth of Oh!asis, a premium tropical confection brand known for strong consumer appeal and consistent retail performance.

Zeno’s Boardwalk Sweet Shop, founded in 1948, is a third-generation confectionery company reportedly known for its "World’s Most Famous Taffy," as well as a broad portfolio of fudge, chocolates, and specialty confections. Through this partnership, Zeno’s World’s Most Famous Taffy joins the Oh!asis portfolio alongside Williams & Bennett, Anastasia, and Helen Grace Chocolates.

“I am proud to continue this business as a family-led company,” says John Zeno Louizes, chief legacy officer and third-generation owner of Zeno’s. “Having grown up in the confectionery industry, I have long admired Las Olas and its products. We are committed to preserving the quality and reputation that have been built over time.”

The partnership reportedly marks a return to family stewardship while reinforcing the operational foundation behind the business. Existing products and formulations remain unchanged, with added focus on disciplined manufacturing, scalability, and consistent execution, the brand says.

The Zeno’s family brings more than 70 years of experience in high-volume production, private label development, and long-standing retail partnerships, aiming to strengthen the capabilities supporting the Oh!asis platform. The combined organization also offers advanced chocolate enrobing capabilities and is actively expanding its co-manufacturing partnerships, the brand notes.

Louizes also expressed appreciation to BBX Capital and the Constantine family for their stewardship of the business. Greg Power, who helped facilitate the transition, will continue in his role as CEO. The company will continue to focus on responsible growth, operational reliability, and maintaining a consistent presence in the confectionery marketplace, it says.
