CandyKing to debut its first U.S. product
The brand will launch its Sour Foamy Pineapple gummy on June 20.

CandyKing, the Swedish pick and mix candy brand, recently launched in the U.S., will debut its first U.S. product launch at the 2026 Midsummer Festival on Saturday, June 20, at Rockefeller Park in Manhattan. CandyKing Sour Foamy Pineapple, the first drop from the brand's new own range of pick and mix candy, will be available exclusively to festival attendees, marking its U.S. debut. Midsummer guests will be the first in the U.S. to get a taste of CandyKing's newest innovation, delivering on both trending sourness and foam texture.
The free and open-to-the-public annual Swedish Midsummer celebration repordly draws thousands of New Yorkers and members of the Nordic community from across the five boroughs and is hosted by the Consulate General of Sweden in New York and the Battery Park City Authority.
"We couldn't think of a better moment to introduce Americans to CandyKing Sour Foamy Pineapple than at Midsummer, one of Sweden's most cherished traditions," says Laura Rytkölä, global director of CandyKing. "We wanted to give New Yorkers, and Scandinavians longing for a taste of home, something special, an exclusive first taste of our newest and own-created taste experience, before anywhere else in the US. We're honored to share a piece of true Swedish candy culture with New York City at a truly Swedish event."
At the festival, CandyKing will bring its signature pick and mix experience to life with a colorful and wide selection of pick and mix candy to sample, as well as interactive fun activations. Guests can try CandyKing Sour Foamy Pineapple alongside consumer-favorite sweets as the festival fills Rockefeller Park with dancing around the Midsummer pole, flower crown making, live music, and Swedish food, all under Manhattan's longest day of the year.
