The Big Apple is being taken over by the big marshmallow. Peeps & Company, the retail arm of Just Born Quality Confections, announced the opening of shops within Toys “R” Us Times Square and FAO Schwarz Fifth Avenue. 

“We are excited to open our branded shops within Toys “R” Us and FAO Schwarz,” says Marvin Cooper, vice president, Peeps & Company. “The marks our first Peeps & Company presence in Manhattan, and is also an integral step in the strategic development of our Peeps & Company retail business.”

Just Born Inc., the maker of Peeps, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales, and Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews, will offer customers more than just candy at their new retail locations.

Besides fan-favorite treats, customers will be able to browse through collections of T-shirts, mugs, scented nail polish, phone cases and, much more. The diehard Peeps fan can even pick up a plush Peep to cuddle with.

The Peeps & Company shop will be located on the second floor of the Toys “R” Us Times Square location, directly across from Candyland. FAO Schwarz’s own candy shop, FAO Schweetz, will house Peeps & Company products for people perusing the beloved toy store. Both locations are operated by IT’SUGAR and are located in high traffic areas for both tourists and NYC natives.

 “These two new shops will certainly please the many fans of our brands who live in, work in or visit Manhattan,” Cooper says.
