Big League Chew names Slammin’ Strawberry as exclusive flavor for softball pouch

Big League Chew has added Slammin’ Strawberry to its shredded bubble gum roster. Exclusive to the popular softball character pouch, the new and improved flavor will be available at retail stores later this spring.
“Last year’s release of the softball pouch was a grand slam for Big League Chew,” said Steve Greene, senior v.p., sales and marketing at Ford Gum. “After conducting thoughtful marketing research and listening to our customers and retailers, we were happy to find that there was a demand for Strawberry. To bring back a limited flavor and improve it exclusively for the softball pouch makes this extra special.”
Manufactured by Ford Gum & Machine Co. in Akron, New York, the new and improved Slammin’ Strawberry flavor also features an aspartame-free formula — the first of the Big League Chew product line that will be rolling out throughout 2020.
Slammin’ Strawberry shredded bubble gum pouches will be available this spring at retail stores across the country, including: Dash In, Five Below, Justice, Party City, Price Chopper, Sheetz, Tops Markets, Wegmans, WEIS Market and Woodman’s.
