As a member of the executive team, Trujillo will be responsible for delivering IT’SUGAR stores sales and participating in the strategic leadership of the company.

Trujillo most recently spent the last 16 years at Sephora as senior district manager, regional director, vice president of stores and lastly, as vice president of retail special projects. He began his career as a store manager at GAP and Aeropostale before transitioning to Warner Bros. Studio Stores, where he progressed from general manager to district manager. After seven years, he moved on to Children’s Place as district manager, overseeing the New York City market.

At IT’SUGAR, Trujillo will spearhead the execution of merchandise and presentation directives, while leading the selection, hiring, training, development and retaining of top field talent to meet current and future business needs. Trujillo will also seek to create partnerships for key corporate functions such as merchandising, planning and replenishment, visual and store design, human resources, and finance.
