Ferrara Candy Co. (Booth 21928) will introduce innovations in the sugar confectionery and cookie categories during the 2021 Sweets & Snacks Expo, set for June 23-25 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Below are some of the products Ferrara will introduce in the coming months under its Brach’s, Nerds, SweeTarts, Trolli, Famous Amos and Keebler Chips Deluxe brands.

Sugar confectionery

Brach's Wisecracks End The Conversation Hearts
As a leading producer of Conversation Hearts, Brach's will introduce Wisecracks End The Conversation Hearts in January 2022, giving the traditional conversation hearts a modern-day makeover with sayings such as “Nope” and “4 Never.”

Laffy Taffy Laff Bites Tropical
On the heels of a successful Laff Bites launch in 2020, Laffy Taffy is launching a new flavor extension: Laff Bites Tropical. The new Laff Bites feature the classic Laffy Taffy flavor in a poppable, candy-coated, chewy taffy bite. Flavors include Guava, Pineapple, Mango and Red Orange. They'll be available nationwide starting in late November.

Nerds Candy Corn
As the leader in candy corn, Ferrara is introducing Nerds Candy Corn. Each piece has a Nerds candy-flavored shell surrounding a soft, chewy, and fruity center. Ferrara’s breakthrough technology has perfected putting a candy coating around a candy corn piece. The center of each piece features two flavors and two colors, inspired by the Nerds brand. They’ll be available nationwide July 15.

To further accelerate brand growth, Nerds launched a breakthrough innovation – Nerds Gummy Clusters. Each brightly colored piece offers a cluster of crunchy, tangy, mini-rainbow Nerds with a delightful, fruity gummy center that provides fans a fun-to-eat, dual-texture treat. They’re now available nationwide.

Nerds Twist & Mix
Nerds is launching a breakthrough packaging innovation – Nerds Twist & Mix. Each new, playful package allows consumers to twist the lid to mix and match their perfect combination of five favorite Nerds candies. Flavors include Strawberry, Orange, Watermelon, Cherry and Lemonade. They'll be available nationwide in late November.

SweeTARTS Chewy Fusions Fruit Punch
Building on its Chewy portfolio, and based on consumers’ desire for unique sensory experiences, SweeTARTS is launching Chewy Fusions. Available in five flavors including Cherry Punch, Strawberry Punch, Watermelon Punch, Tropical Punch and mixed Berry Punch, each delicious piece has a thin, crispy candy shell with crunchy candy bits inside surrounding a soft chewy center. They’ll be available nationwide in late November.

Trolli Sour Bursting Crawlers 
The Trolli brand’s latest innovation is Sour Bursting Crawlers – featuring a sour, fruity liquid burst of flavor on the inside. Available nationwide January 2022, each pack includes four mash-up flavors:

• Cherry shell with Pineapple center
• Blue Raspberry shell with Strawberry center

Famous Amos Wonders from the World 
While preserving its signature bite-sized shape, Famous Amos crafted new recipes with the best ingredients from around the world. Famous Amos Wonders of the World will feature an elevated classic chocolate chip cookie, now with authentic Belgian chocolate and two new bite-sized varieties including Philippine Coconut and White Chocolate Chip, and Mediterranean Hazelnut and Chocolate Chip. 

To reflect the brand’s move to a modern, premium cookie, Famous Amos will also roll out a contemporary refined look with new distinctive graphics displayed across packaging, marketing and on-shelf promotions. They’ll be available nationwide in October 2021.

Keebler Chips Deluxe Double Chocolate Rainbow
On the heels of winning 2021 Product of the Year, Keebler Chips Deluxe is adding a brand-new innovation to its lineup: Keebler Chips Deluxe Double Chocolate Rainbow. They’re made with real chocolate chips and colorful M&M'S. They’ll be available nationwide in January 2022.
