Ghirardelli introduces non-dairy dark chocolate baking chips

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Co. has launched its first plant-based, non-dairy dark chocolate baking chips.
Made with 52% cacao using sustainably sourced cocoa beans, Ghirardelli’s Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate Baking Chips bring a balanced, dark chocolate flavor to any recipe. Joining the lineup of semi-sweet, bittersweet and milk chocolate chips, as well as white chips, bakers now have a non-dairy option when it comes to their recipes.
“We’re continuing to look for ways to innovate in the baking chocolate category that meet consumers’ evolving preferences and introduce products that everyone can enjoy,” said Megan Wright, marketing director at Ghirardelli. “Consumers looking to reduce their dairy intake, or for plant-based chocolate options, can now turn to Ghirardelli’s new Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate Baking Chips to make their delicious treats a bite better.”
The Non-Dairy Dark Chocolate Baking Chips are available in the baking aisle with other Ghirardelli baking products at national and select retailers for a suggested retail price of $5.99, though prices may vary by store and location.
