Ritter Sport is revealing the latest step in global travel retail for its chocolate wafer brand Amicelli, which has partnered with King Power for a colorful, sweet treat activation in Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok.
Amicelli, known for its signature crispy wafer rolls filled with smooth cream and coated in chocolate, joined the Alfred Ritter GmbH brand family in January 2021. Already a proven success at Tel Aviv Airport’s James Richardson Duty-Free, the company says, Amicelli is now taking the next step in its global journey.
Amicelli has officially entered the Asia-Pacific travel retail market with an exclusive launch at Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok International Airport) in partnership with King Power. Located in Terminal 1, the activation, which ran during April, showcased the brand’s Amicelli Hazelnut 150g, featuring a vibrant pink display designed to capture travelers' attention.
The promotional space includes a customized ‘Greetings From’ sleeve, adding a personal and local flair to the packaging. Throughout the campaign, a promoter will offer samples, allowing travelers to experience Amicelli for themselves.
This marks the first step in a broader rollout strategy, as Amicelli continues its journey into global travel retail markets. In addition, Amicelli is committed to 100% certified cocoa sourcing, upholding the highest standards in quality and ethical production.
