Gelato Canna Co. debuts functional cannabis gummies
The effects-based candies will be sold in Michigan, with an Arizona launch to follow.

Gelato Canna Co., purveyors of cannabis consumer product goods in California and Michigan, has launched its THC and functional mushroom-infused Functional Gummy. The Functional Gummy collection includes Day, Night, Focus, and Pain, each named for the function they target. Gelato’s Functional Gummy will be available throughout participating Michigan dispensaries, and the company plans to launch the Functional Gummy in Arizona before the end of the year.
“Providing our customers with an effects-based product is something we have been wanting to do for a long time,” says George Sadler, CEO and co-founder of Gelato Canna Co. “But it wasn’t just about throwing something out there and seeing what happens. We wanted to create something that combines every kind of ingredient needed to deliver the best, most potent results for a variety of physical needs.”
Each pack of Functional Gummy contains ten individual gummies, each dosed with 10 mg of THC and infused with functional mushrooms, including Cordyceps, Reishi, Lion’s Mane, and Chaga. The products retail between $14 to $23 per bag. The individual flavors and effects include:
Day – Orange Cream Energy Lift
CBG/THC 2:1 + Cordyceps | 400 mg CBG, 200 mg THC, 100 mg Cordyceps
Reportedly backed by research, CBG aims to deliver focus and uplift without the fog, while THC smooths mood and reduces tension. Cordyceps is a performance mushroom that can boost ATP, improve oxygen use, and fight fatigue. Science says CBG may counteract THC’s fog, enhancing focus and drive while cordyceps support endurance, blood flow, and sustained energy, according to the company. Customers can expect to find a taste profile similar to an orange creamsicle.
Night – Sunset Orange Sleep Sync
CBN/CBD/THC 2:1:1 + Reishi | 400 mg CBN, 200 mg CBD, 200 mg THC, 100 mg Reishi
Gelato’s 2:1:1 blend of CBN, CBD, and THC is scientifically tuned to target all phases of sleep, the brand says. CBN leads with deep sedation, CBD relaxes the nervous system, and THC lowers sleep latency for faster knockouts. Gelato added Reishi mushroom, reportedly proven to reduce cortisol and improve sleep architecture, as Reishi improves REM sleep and overnight recovery. CBD can help reduce nighttime anxiety and inflammation. Sunset Orange is best for insomnia, muscle tension, or a recovery night. Customers can expect to find a citrusy taste profile.
Focus – Strawberry Lemonade Clarity
THCV/THC 2:1 + Lion’s Mane | 400 mg THCV, 200mg THC, 100 mg Lion’s Mane
THCV is said to be the clean stimulant of the cannabis world—sharpening focus, blunting distraction, and nixing the munchies. Lion’s Mane, a nootropic mushroom that stimulates nerve growth factor (NGF), can support the neurons that power memory, focus, and cognition. Science says THCV enhances alertness and blocks THC-induced fog while Lion’s Mane supports neurogenesis and focus. Focus is best for deep work, creativity, studying, or pre-workout mental prep. Customers can expect to find a strawberry lemonade taste profile.
Pain – Prickly Pear Relief Blend
CBC/THC 2:1 + Chaga | 400 mg CBC, 200 mg THC, 100 mg Chaga
CBC is an anti-inflammatory cannabinoid that works with THC to target both the root and the signal of pain, Gelato notes. The 2:1 CBC:THC ratio is reportedly scientifically supported to enhance THC’s pain-fighting power while keeping the high clear and manageable. Gelato fortified it with Chaga mushroom, nature’s inflammation modulator, known to block Cox-2 enzymes and reduce oxidative stress in the body. Science says CBC plus THC can amplified pain relief and inflammation control.
