Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to announce that SnackCraft, a Greece-based manufacturer of high-quality snack foods, is establishing its U.S. headquarters in the city of Kentwood with support from the Michigan Strategic Fund.

Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory will now distribute its products in Canada through a partnership with importer and distributor Coco Doro Corp and its logistics partner, the Cheese Boutique. 

Sugar Free Specialties, manufacturer of sugar-free nutritional candy under the Dr. John’s brand, is expanding in Plainfield Township, Mich., investing $2.3 million and creating 50 jobs.  

KNPC Holdco, manufacturer of nut and trail mix snacks sold under the Kar’s Nuts and Second Nature brands, has acquired Sanders maker Morley Candy Makers for an undisclosed sum.
