Better Sour debuts Tart Cherry Gummy Stars
The gummies feature BFY ingredients sourced from the U.S.

Better Sour has launched Tart Cherry Gummy Stars, a new product developed over two years of research and ingredient sourcing. The gummies feature tart cherry juice from Georgia and dried Montmorency cherries from the U.S., resulting in a distinctly tart and fruit-forward profile.
Tart Cherry Gummy Stars are now available exclusively at Sprouts locations nationwide, with a limited release on Amazon. Broader distribution is planned for 2026.
Better Sour, founded in 2023, produces sour candy inspired by global culinary traditions. The brand was created by two lifelong friends, daughters of Middle Eastern immigrants raised in Hawaii, who sought to highlight tangy fruits often absent from mainstream candy offerings, such as pomegranate and calamansi lime.
The company’s products are currently sold in more than 3,500 stores across the U.S. and are also available on select United Airlines routes. Better Sour was first introduced at Erewhon and has since gained recognition for its adult-oriented flavor profiles.
Taste Radio’s Ray Latif has referred to Better Sour as the “Poppi of candy,” reflecting its positioning within the better-for-you and culinary-inspired snack space.
