This Valentine’s Day, Ferrero Rocher is inviting consumers to "Raise A Rocher" with the brand’s signature Valentine’s Day Heart Box. The premium, gold-wrapped chocolate is designed to elevate even the simplest celebrations, the brand says.

According to the company, the Ferrero Rocher Heart Box features iconic chocolates, offering an indulgent combination of a crisp wafer shell, smooth filling, and hazelnut center.

To learn more, we connected with Eleonora Grandi, brand manager, premium chocolate, Ferrero.

Liz Parker Kuhn: When did Ferrero Rocher’s signature Valentine’s Day Heart Box first debut?

Eleonora Grandi: The Valentine’s Day heart box debuted as a delicious way to celebrate the holiday and give consumers a heart-shaped option that feels festive and giftable. Over time, it’s become part of how people shop for Valentine’s Day chocolate.

LPK: How did the inspiration or recipe for the chocolates come about?

EG: Ferrero Rocher was created in 1982 in Italy, with the idea of making high-quality chocolate more accessible. The recipe brings together a whole hazelnut, smooth chocolate filling, a crisp wafer shell, and a chocolate coating for a layered texture and flavor experience.

LPK: Did you ever do any consumer taste-testing, for either the product/ingredients or the packaging?

EG: Ferrero Rocher regularly evaluates its products and packaging to ensure they deliver the experience people expect—from how the chocolate comes together to how it looks and feels as a gift.

LPK: How can consumers gift the Valentine’s Day Box?

EG: There are so many ways people celebrate Valentine’s Day now, and the Heart Box fits right in. It works just as well as a romantic gift as it does for a Galentine’s get-together.

I’ve also seen people incorporate the pralines into tablescapes, dessert boards, or place settings to add a festive and elevated touch.

LPK: What else is Ferrero Rocher working on for 2026?

EG: Ferrero Rocher is continuing to focus on ways to celebrate everyday moments with our new masterbrand platform, Raise A Rocher. The platform encourages people to honor and elevate the moment they’re in, whether it’s holidays, milestones, or everyday achievements.

LPK: What’s your personal favorite Ferrero Rocher product to enjoy?

EG: My personal favorite product to enjoy is the classic Ferrero Rocher. It feels indulgent but familiar, which makes it my go-to choice.
