That’s because the German Bakers’ Confederation, which sponsors the exhibition, decided to move the show to Munich through 2024. In the past, the event alternated between the two cities every three years.
“With this long-term commitment to Munich as a location for the fair, we are laying a solid foundation for iba as the world’s leading trade fair for the baking trades,” says Peter Becker, president of the confederation. “In doing so, we are giving exhibitors and trade visitors certainty for their long-term planning.”
