RED Chocolate adds Blonde to product lineup

Blonde is the first caramelized white chocolate made using no added sugar.

RED Chocolate adds Blonde to its existing product line
May 12, 2022

RED Chocolate has debuted Blonde, a caramelized white chocolate bar made with no added sugar.

RED Chocolate uses a technology that whips and heats milk until it caramelizes. The company then adds it to the white chocolate base.

The Blonde bar is available in stores nationwide and online at select partners. Like all RED Chocolate, there is no added sugar. The bars are also kosher, gluten-free and contain no palm oil. The European brand is one of the first to use the natural sugar from the cocoa bean itself and naturally occurring sugars from fruits such as melons to lightly sweeten its recipe, receiving more than 10 invention patents.

Market response to the growing interest in better-for-you options encouraged RED to make this limited-edition Blonde flavor now a part of its product line for year-round enjoyment.

All RED bars are teto-friendly (dark flavors) and Weight Watchers-friendly. Other attributes include:

  • Up to 40 percent fewer calories than other dark chocolate brands
  • 30-40 percent less fat than other chocolate brands
  • Cocoa from the Ivory Coast
