Campfire Marshmallow debuts holiday-inspired confection

Doumak, Inc., the maker of Campfire Marshmallows, will debut its newest product—Peppermint ‘Mallow Poppers—at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis, May 13–15. Attendees are invited to visit booth 4913 to sample the minty, chocolate-drizzled snack, which is also nominated for the Most Innovative New Product Award.
“Peppermint ‘Mallow Poppers are a fun, festive twist on a classic treat,” says Seth Pearson, VP of sales and marketing at Doumak, Inc. “They’re a perfect example of how we continue to evolve the Campfire brand for today’s consumer—delivering great taste, convenience and value.”
The product features peppermint-flavored marshmallows, drizzled with dark chocolate and sprinkled with crunchy peppermint pieces, packed in 4.5-oz bags.
“With cocoa prices at record highs, affordability matters more than ever,” Pearson adds. “Seventy-six percent of consumers cite price as a top factor when buying food and beverages. Peppermint ‘Mallow Poppers offer a budget-friendly way to enjoy chocolate without compromise. Early retail tests, including a successful Walmart pilot, show strong consumer interest.”
