Mars introduces freeze-dried M&M's POP’d Caramel
National retail rollout of the brand's first-ever freeze-dried candy is slated for 2026.

Mars is launching M&M’s POP’d Caramel, the brand’s first freeze-dried candy. The product features a light, crispy texture combined with the brand’s established caramel flavor.
M&M’s POP’d Caramel will be available in a 5.5 oz small stand-up pouch beginning November 3 via TikTok Shop and MMS.com, followed by M&M’s Stores on November 10. Nationwide retail distribution is scheduled to begin in January 2026, with additional sizes expected later in the year.
The new format builds on the freeze-dried platform introduced with Skittles POP’d in 2024, reflecting increased consumer interest in novel textures and snack formats.
“With M&M’s POP’d Caramel, we're giving consumers a whole new way to enjoy the classic caramel flavor that has been part of our lineup for years,” says Martin Terwilliger, vice president of marketing, Mars Wrigley North America. “This fresh and fun new treat takes everything you love about M&M’s and gives it a light, crispy crunch, bringing the flavors and textures together in an unexpected new way.”
