Velondi Brands, Inc. adds cake-shaped gummies to lineup
The company has acquired WildBrain's Strawberry Shortcake brand.

Velondi Brands, Inc. has added WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake brand to its Gupperz lineup. This strategic expansion marks another milestone in the company’s mission to deliver innovation, and high-quality products that resonate with both new and longtime patrons, it says.
WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake, reportedly one of the most recognizable characters in children’s entertainment, adds sweetness, nostalgia, and charm to the brand line-up, it says. With her cheerful personality and timeless appeal, Strawberry Shortcake represents fun, friendship, and positivity, making her a perfect fit for the Gupperz’s portfolio, Velondi Brands adds. Each individually wrapped piece is a cake-shaped gummy infused with strawberry-flavored liquid candy. The collaboration between Strawberry Shortcake and Velondi was brokered by WildBrain’s licensing agency, WildBrain CPLG.

The introduction of Gupperz Strawberry Shortcake reflects Velondi Brands commitment to growth, originality, and delivering products that connect with families and consumers, it says. New product releases and collaborations tied to Strawberry Shortcake will roll out this spring. Gupperz Strawberry Shortcake will be sold in 2.54-oz peg bags which are packed in a 4/12-count case with an SRP of $3.99.
