Dozens of industry professionals indulged on chocolate baked goods and candy during the grand opening of Puratos Innovation Center in Kenosha, Wis.
Puratos Chocolate USA also treated its guests to a tour of its plant, which houses two lines that produce a variety of dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate products. The company upgraded the operation’s production process, packaging material, quality control, sensory analysis and safety programs.
During the event, Puratos Chocolate USA also announced the formal launch of its Chocolanté brand of real chocolate and the re-launch of its Carat brand of compound chocolate and cocoa and nut-based fillings.
The company also sells its Belcolade brand of chocolate, which is made in Belgium.
