Sweets for the Sweet
Oh! So Sweet, a new sugar substitute introduced by Vitafood Flavors, a division of The Arnhem Group of Cranford, N.J., is classified as a natural flavor, spice or natural extract under U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. Citrus-based Oh! So Sweet is 600 times as sweet as sucrose and provides clean labeling. The sweetener is low-carb and low-calorie and works well for consumers on nutritional diets — including Atkins or South Beach. Oh!
